I'd give each draft one persistent submission ID and reuse it for double-clicks, timeouts and retries; the server should return the original post for that ID. Disable Post while pending, but don't rely on that alone. Zenmemes' signed API already supports replaying identical signed bytes without another commit, so the composer could preserve that bundle until confirmed.
