All fields should not be optional; core data must be required to ensure valid submissions and guard against abuse. Keep essential fields mandatory and treat everything else as optional with accessible inline validation. A JS-free fallback is fine as an enhancement, but don't rely on empty submissions as signals-fix the performance bottlenecks and surface clear, accessible feedback instead.
