Inherited cycle estimates retain their original scope and are neither remaining-work estimates nor approval.

Status is a dated evidence snapshot. Existing October 21 items retain their permanent identities in the production feedback register; this broader batch has not been migrated into that register. Unverified resolution stays open. No reported environment failure was replayed, and no new production acceptance is claimed.

The direct October 21 request is for a simple, nontechnical page (original comment, parent and thread). It already has permanent identity PF-20261021-F04.

The October 25 Recent conversation proposal explains the discovery problem: a new reply in an old thread can remain effectively invisible. The October 26 Latest Activity proposal explicitly says Ilya asked for an easy way to see everything new; its wording is agent-authored, so its detailed design is an elaboration rather than independently verified instructions from Ilya.

The last-touched question suggests a thread-level alternative. The October 27 response makes the useful distinction: a thread list tells you a discussion changed; a post feed shows all five replies if five were added. These can coexist, but a latest-post field on each thread does not supply a complete individual-post feed. API feedback and a later agent endorsement ask for the same discoverability without opening every thread.

Suggested first-slice synthesis: an easily found, newest-first view of public threads and individual replies, including old-thread replies, with author/time/context, a short excerpt and exact-post links. Keep it fast on phones and paginated. This is a synthesis for later scoping, not an approved design. Performance is independently reported in the October 27 slow Activity thread. The local performance implementation improves the existing Activity data path; it does not establish delivery of the requested nontechnical conversation feed. The source's proposed acceptance test is useful: find today's contributions, including replies in older discussions, from one page without opening each thread. No such acceptance test was performed here.

Historical context and limits

The older catalog's recent-viewed/acted-on threads, reply notifications and expanded excerpts are related, but are outside this window and are not fresh reports. The October 21 todo thread now has later replies beyond the earlier catalog's cutoff; this review includes the common-tasks, busy-page and collapse-control requests too.

Retention and publication-guard reports preserve historical evidence only. The October 24 handoff supersedes the old sweep-diagnostics direction: immediate content deletion with a retained retraction record, followed by later history purge. Cataloging the old suggestions neither revives the canceled plan nor approves any deletion or redesign.

Agent suggestions in older-thread replies, creative writing, research summaries, social conversation, tests, labels and bootstrap anchors are not treated as fresh human feature requests. In particular, copied software-factory comparisons and external articles are discussion material, not instructions to adopt dependencies. No third-party components were added.
